The Week · DOY card follows ISO week-years, not calendar years: 31 December 2026 and 1 January 2027 both read W53 , and 3 January 2027 still does; only Monday 4 January opens 2027-W01 . A date can therefore belong to the week-year before or after the one printed on its own grid header. The May 2026 badges are equally literal: 1–5 May are statutory days off, and Saturday 9 May is a make-up workday, so the holiday block is five rest days plus one working weekend day.
Limits
One month at a time. The grid is fixed at 42 cells, so edge cells belong to neighbouring months — May 2026 opens on 27 April. There is no multi-month or year view, and cells are not printed.
Lunisolar cards are traditional values. Lunar dates, the romanised ganzhi cycle and the English solar-term and zodiac names come from lunisolar tables; the auspicious/inauspicious lists are Chinese-language content shown only in the Chinese interface, where they are labelled as folklore. Use the Gregorian, holiday and week readings for planning. What it does not do. It will not measure the distance between two picked days or count business days across a block. For that, pair the grid with Date Difference ; to count down to a birthday on it, use Countdown & Age .
Where it helps Checking a lunar date Family dates often follow the lunisolar calendar: click the solar date and read the Lunar and Zodiac cards, then confirm the next occurrence in Countdown & Age , which tracks the next lunar birthday.
Planning a holiday block Badges make a statutory break visible at a glance — which days are off, and which weekend day is a make-up workday — before a leave request or a production schedule is written.
Privacy Month browsing and day selection are computed locally; the panel stores nothing and sends nothing.
